
The intersection of technology and innovative fashion design is my area of expertise as a creative designer. In addition to my Bachelor's degree in HomeEconomics Education from the University of Education Winneba in Ghana. I hold a Master's degree in Fine Arts (MFA) from the University of North Texas and a Master's degree in Fashion Industry Studies (MFIS) from Kent State University.
As a designer who is both innovative and artistic, I am particularly passionate about the development of products for sustainable markets. This encompasses a strong emphasis on the development of sustainable designs, the execution of innovative design projects, and the creation of customized outfits. My professional journey has been enriched by skills, including 3D Pattern making, 3D painting, Laser cutting, making accessories, and teaching and imparting knowledge.
In academia, my instructional expertise involves a variety of fashion design disciplines, including garment construction, pattern-making, draping techniques, sustainable design practices, foundational art courses, and Adobe. My teaching philosophy focuses on instilling industry standards for product development, establishing a classroom environment that values diversity and inclusivity, and using technology to stimulate and improve students' creative thinking.
My professional aspirations are deeply rooted in the establishment of a system that promotes sustainable design, research, and the empowerment of diverse youth. Going forward, this is my ultimate goal; I am dedicated to applying my abilities and expertise to influence knowledge, generate employment, and contribute to the economy.
